Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator assists in the planning and implementation of clinical research studies supporting various clinical areas within the company.

Responsibilities of the Research Coordinator:

  • Identify patients eligible for clinical trials based on clinical criteria
  • Assist physicians in connecting patients with clinical trial sites
  • Research available clinical trials and identify relevant trials
  • Perform statistical analysis on patient data to identify clinically actionable trends
  • Interface with Western IRB and other institutional review boards for all submissions
  • Assist in the development of research protocols and templates
  • Assist in the planning and execution of new clinical research projects
  • Be the central point-person for assigned research projects

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related health field. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. 1-2 years clinical trials experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficient knowledge of Western IRB
  • Proficient in MS Office including expert knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of MS Access queries or SQL queries preferred
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and be a self-starter
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision

Marketing Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager position is a multifaceted position requiring a diverse set of business skills and scientific knowledge and curiosity.  The position will work closely with key personnel in our sales force, medical staff, IT, and operations.  Day to day activities involve close interaction with the sales force needs including providing insight on oncology testing needs, developing marketing materials to highlight product benefits, and research into new oncology tests.

The prospective hire would need to have a good science background, preferably in biology, or a great interest in learning the oncology business.  The position will require an understanding of cancer medicine and as a result the candidate would need to develop the knowledge quickly to succeed.  We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working in a hospital setting, although it is not required.

The position would report to the Product Manager.  Please only local (tri-state area) candidates.

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a bachelors degree in either physical sciences (biology, chemistry, etc) or business
  • Masters degree in a biological science or MBA is a plus
  • Fluency in English required
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Related work experience of at least 2 years
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Pharmaceutical Marketing and/or Diagnostics degree a plus
  • Familiarity in reading oncology literature and journal
